Unit Information |
The Royal Marine Light Infantry formed part of the Royal Naval Division, a division formed very quickly at the start of the war and included pre-war reservists and other naval staff. It fought from the very beginning to the very end of the war from Antwerp to Gallipoli to France and Flanders. It was always very proud to maintain it's naval connections and was the bane of it's Army commanders. |
